The Dales of Derby

Mode are thrilled to have recently been involved in the development of Dales of Derby, a beautiful group accommodation venue set on the banks of the Ringarooma River in Derby.
The highly energy-efficient building was designed by PMD Architecture.
In this setting, hot water was identified the single greatest expense & power load.
To address this issue, Mode installed an oversized 11kW solar PV system with SunPower X21-345W modules to directly supply 4 x 315L Sanden Hot Water systems. The Sanden units are programmed to heat only during the day, running completely on solar.
