Introducing Humans of Solar

04 Aug, 2021

Ever wondered what it’s like living off-grid? Or been intrigued to know what kind of people choose a sustainable source of energy, like solar?

Launching next week, our Humans of Solar series hands the microphone to 10 Tasmanian individuals, couples and families we know whose lives are powered by the sun. In their own words, you’ll learn why they made the decision to rely on the environment’s ample resource of sunshine to sustain their energy needs.

In the Humans of Solar mix is a family building a hay bale house, a pig farmer, a specialist running several hospitals, a baker and a gentleman who once worked in the fossil fuel industry.

All are fascinating insights into real people’s lives, and we can’t wait to share them with you. Keep an eye out on our Facebook and Instagram pages, or right here on our website. We plan to share them every Tuesday for the next 10 weeks. Enjoy!
