Martin Dingemanse is Co-Owner & Director of Mode Electrical (Tas.) Pty Ltd, an award-winning electrical contracting company specialising in engineered renewable energy solutions.

With over 15 years personal experience in the Renewable Energy Industry, Martin has a passion for state-of-the art renewable technology, particularly when it can be used to provide reliable energy when it is desperately needed – both locally and overseas in third-world countries.

This passion, together with Martin’s technical background and experience, enabled him to design and install innovative stand-alone systems for two hospitals in South Sudan, one of which was awarded the Clean Energy Council National Best Solar PV Power System Design & Installation for a Stand-Alone System in 2013.

Martin is happily married with 3 children. He enjoys the great outdoors – mountain biking, bush-walking, gardening – and being as self-sufficient as possible. He & his wife Margaret built their own home, raise chooks, and enjoy their vineyard, vegetable gardens, and olive trees.

Providing good information and education about the operation and benefits of renewable energy is at the core of Martin’s business. It gives Martin great satisfaction to provide others with independent energy solutions to support a healthy and sustainable lifestyle, creating a positive impact on the environment and in peoples’ lives.

Mode was the first entirely local Tasmanian solar installation Company to be accredited as a Clean Energy Council Approved Solar Retailer, and was the Tasmanian Winner in the 2016 Telstra Business Awards (Micro-Business).
